Getting "In the Box"

I register for the intro seminar with the hospital diet program suggested by Stickthin.  The intro session is one hour and I attend with a friend.  My friend sends me a text saying he'll be late but IS coming.  So, I enter alone.  I'm greeted with food.  Seriously, the lady hands me two small cups of food.  What kind of diet is this?  In an hour, we taste the food, go over the program, and find out the costs.  It's one of those where you have to eat all their food (which I'm always worried about in the long term since you really cant eat that exclusively for the rest of your life).  I learn that the cost equates to $8 a meal, and that includes the weekly doctors visits.  And, the majority of patients who stay "in the box" lose 40-60 pounds in the first 13 weeks.  "In the box" is their term for staying on the program and eating specifically their foods.  Hmmmm.  40 - 60 pounds in 13 weeks?  Wow.  This, of course, sounds wonderful.  And, what's 13 weeks?  I mean, I can do anything for 13 weeks... right?
